A normal year starts 1 January and finishes at 31 December but fiscal years often follow a different time table. Here are the financial calendars of the South Asian countries:
Afganistan: 21 March to 20 March
Bangladesh: 1 July to 30 June
Bhutan: 1 July to 30 June
India: 1 April to 31 March
Maldives: 1 January to 31 December
Nepal: 16 July to 15 July
Pakistan: 1 July to 30 June
Sri Lanka: 1 January to 31 December
The 8 countries have 5 different time table as far as fiscal year is concerned. This shows that they are still a long way of economic integration.
Do you think that they should have a common time table about fiscal year?

I am really surprised to see that different countries follow different time table as fiscal year. I feel curious to know that they will have to face any problem to deal with other country. I think all countries should follow a common time table as fiscal year.
