In the earlier post, I talked about the Indian expectations from the ongoing trade talk between India and Pakistan . Generally India and Pakistan  are termed as "arch rivals" by the international media since they have fought 3 wars with each other in the last 60 years. The issue of Kashmir is still unresolved and to Pakistan this is the most important issue in the relationship between the two countries. wants to include the issue of Kashmir with before reaching into any agreement about transit and MFN matters.

 The second thing wants is that Indian government opens up its market more for Pakistani goods. Pakistan has called for removing the non-tariff barriers by India .

 Trade between India and Pakistan is increasing in the recent months and this year it is expected to be more than $1 billion. On 29 March, 2006 the two sides will issue a joint statement. The main sticking point seems to be the unresolved issue of Kashmir. Pakistan wants to include this issue while India is against of relating this issue with trade matters.
