Intel Capital is going to organize CEO Summit in
Mumbai, India between May 23 & 26. No need to explain that it is recognition of the growing importance of India
in the world economy. Last year, Annual CEO Summit was held in China. Arvind Sodhani, president, Intel Capital, based in Santa Clara and senior VP of Intel, informed the media, "This is a big event and was held in China last year. We will have over 350 CEOs of our portfolio companies together with government leaders, academicians, economists, prominent members of the VC community and top executives from Intel and Global 2000 corporations in India
for this event."
Intel Capital is the investment arm of Intel Corporation and invests in promising companies globally. In India, it has a very strong presence and according to Mr. Sodhani, Intel Capital is the largest tech VC in India. It has been in India
since 1998 and about 40 Indian companies have received investment from Intel Capital.
