Glenayre Messaging just opened an office in India. It is an Atlanta, based company and a division of Glenayre Technologies Inc. It provides next-generation messaging solutions and enhanced services for wireless and fixed line carriers and cable companies.  The sheer size of telecommunication industry of India is going to attract many foreign companies in the coming days. However, what I feel is that this is the best time to enter in this market as the boom has just started. No doubt, the boom will continue for the next 5-10 years or even more. So, the earlier a company enters the market the better.
