Microsoft getting interested about mobile device business in India

The explosive economic growth in India has played the leading role in the increase of mobile devices like handsets, tablet PCs, pocket PCs and PDAs. Microsoft, with its strong presence in India is preparing to tap into this market. According to a report of The Economic Times, out of 1000 workers of India Development Centre (IDC) of Microsoft, 100 are engaged with mobile devices.  Sudeep Bharati, director — mobile devices group has informed that there will be an explosive growth in this field. Microsoft is keen to use the Indian talents to research and develop applications for mobile devices. Now, IDC employees are busy to integrate Microsoft programs in mobile devices in India .

Of course, other giants in the field of mobile devices should become conscious about the Indian market. Indian market has a huge potential and there is a lot to be done. For example, Japanese users of mobile devices now can watch television. Indians are crazy for live cricket and if any company can produce live cricket matches in mobile devices, it will become instant hit.

You are right that if consumers of mobile phone can watch live cricket then they would definitely buy mobile phone. Already, there are some programs in mobile phone that entertain people. I think that besides cricket if it is possible to watch the result of share market then it would be better for those persons who are involve in share business.
India is a large market and Microsoft can get a large market by their investing.
