Deemer told the journalists in India, "The novel search engine allows users in India to benefit from the collective wisdom of Yahoo's global community even while addressing local requirements." The best aspect of Yahoo! Answers is that real people provide answers for you and this way Indian users now can know about India related matters such as tax system, movie etc.
Right now, Yahoo offers this service in USA, Canada, UK and Australia. So, this shows that Yahoo is giving the Indian market a lot of importance and this is a wise decision of Yahoo bosses. In India, still very few people have access to Internet and within the next 5 years Internet penetration will increase dramatically, as Internet is becoming affordable to the common people in the country.
