I found the news in the blog Digital Inspiration and then I visited the website of Newsgator. Like, BlogBurst, NewsGator is now planning a syndication service for the blogs and I am quoting from their website here:
"Our editors and editors of our partners will be choosing relevant feeds, posts, podcasts, and videocasts from a select list of content providers for syndication. If you are chosen to be a charter member of the NewsCast select list, your content will be promoted to some of the world’s most recognized online brands.
Your content may appear on our partners’ sites and possibly via other channels such as instant messaging and portable devices. Whenever your content is used, the publisher will display your logo, the title of your feed and a link back to your site.
This program will initially be launched as a "preview", during which time we will develop models that may include revenue sharing."
So, the idea of revenue sharing will become attractive to many bloggers- especially from South Asia because it gives the South Asian bloggers a better source of earning revenue than PPC, text links and affiliate sales. In order to succeed in those programs, your website must have good traffic (more than 1000 hits per day minimum) and most of the bloggers from South Asia do not have this kind of traffic because of very low PC and internet penetration in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and other South Asian countries. So, if NewsGator picks you up then you stand in a better chance of getting good traffic and getting a share of the revenue.
I am still not sure if NewsGator will accept blogs from South Asia but since BlogBurst has accepted my 3 blogs, I am optimistic that NewsGator will do the same. To submit your blog go to this link.
