![]() Just 4 days ago, I wrote an entry, ' Pakistan: Heat wave Death toll crosses 50' and by looking at the heading of today's entry, you can easily touch that the nature of suffering of common people in Pakistan. Today, in my personal blog, I wrote about the miserable condition of the Chinese people due to drought. There is now food and water shortage in some parts of China because of prolonging drought. However, for Pakistan, we have both heat wave and drought and thus the condition has become more deadly than China. In the biggest province of Pakistan, Punjab, the average temperature in the recent days has been 4 or 5 degree Celsius higher than last year. In South Asia, you can witness frequent power cuts in the small cities and village areas because of the fact that demand for power increases a lot during summer. To improve the condition 3 things have to be done:
Death of large number of people from heat wave is surely a tragedy for our modern civilization where technology has improved much.
