![]() India has been witnessing one of the fastest economic growths in the world and the success of Indian tech companies in terms of outsourcing has created havoc in USA and Europe as thousands of tech jobs are shifting to India. I am sure many people like me will get shocked to see that no Indian company could make in the list of Business 2.0 magazine's list of 100 fastest-growing tech companies. Last year, Infosys was in the 8th position and this year Infosys is absent in the list. In fact, Infosys shocked many people last year be being into the rank of top ten companies. To add insult to injury for the Indian companies, 2 Chinese companies, sohu.com and Sina have entered into the list.
I am not sure why Indian companies and especially Infosys failed to make into the list. However, it shows that Indian tech companies are yet to become global player in the real sense. I wish that Indian tech companies now become very serious about this matter and next year we have more than one company from Indian making into the list.
What is your view about it?
