Many people in South Asian (including India) are going abroad for better education, better job and better life. They are going to Middle East, Europe and of course to USA. Until now, we did not hear of many Indian students who after graduating from a university in USA or Europe wanted to come back to India happily and start their career. Well, perhaps the time has started for Indian students to come back to India happily and work. At least, 79 Indian students studying at the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business (GSB) are thinking this way. Family ties, growing opportunities in India and a sense of belonging are the main factors behind such feeling among these students. It’s not that after graduating these students will come to India the next day. However, many of them would come to India with a short time after finishing their studies. I guess that most of them will first try to have some working experience in USA and then make the return trip to home.
I am sure that many other Indian students feel the same way about coming back home. When they will come back home, they will bring good experience of studying and working in USA and they can use it in India.
