![]() I wrote a similar post two days ago and there I identified some problems behind the absence significant number of blogs in Asian languages. I mentioned the absence of Adsense support for South Asian Languages. Today, I like to elaborate a bit about this topic. Adsense is perhaps the most popular PPC program and to know how Google Adsense is doing read this article titled, Google's 'AdSense Keeps Competitors Trailing'. A list of the languages that Google's AdSense support can be in the website of Google Adsense. You cannot find any South Asian language here. Well, I do not blame Google for this because it is ultimately the demand that drives a product in the market. Advertisers give the advertisements to Google for placing them in different websites and blogs. Naturally, an advertiser from Europe or American will not wish that his advertisement is displayed in a Bengali or Hindi Website. So, the demand has to come from the advertisers. To know more about how you can earn money by blogging you can visit the blogs- Problogger and BusinessBlogWire.
We, the bloggers from South Asia, will have to try to motivate South Asian companies to place advertisements in blogs or websites that are in South Asian languages. When a good market will grow here then naturally Google, Microsoft and Yahoo all will get interested to support South Asian languages in their ad programs. Until then, we have no choice but to wait for getting Adsense.

glad to say hello to our Indonesian friend, Yeni.
Adsense still not a popular business tools in Indonesia, since Internet only used by no more than 50% Indonesian people ( maybe only 20%)
Internet user are only found in big cities, meanwhile people in Indonesia are spreading in many rural areas.
I dont know about internet market in South Asia, but I think it has same condition like us here.
In other Asian country that improving their internet service, they take more benefit from Adsense. Singapore as an example they got internet technologies faster than other south east asia countries ( Malaysia, Indonesia, Philipina, Thailand, etc )
Thanks hedgehogman for the information about INdonesia. Indonesia is a neighbor of South Asia and in the coming days, I will try to write about its economy. You have a nice blog too.
Razib, thanks for mentioning my blog in the same sentence as Darren Rowse's Problogger! He's a hundred times more popular than I am, and with good reason, but I try to offer valuable information just as he does.
