![]() Really, to the South Asian people Roll Royce is the car for kings and queens only. Even in Europe and America, unless you are rich, you can only satisfy your heart by looking at them not owning one. Now, Rolls Royce bosses have realized the fact that many people in India are getting rich and it is the best time to make its presence felt in the country. So, today, Rolls Royce opened its first dealership in the city of Mumbai. It is offering Rolls-Royce Phantom for the Indian consumers for a price of Rs 35 million only! Rolls Royce bosses will be very happy if they can sell 30 cars in a year. Rolls Royce was out of the Indian market for 51 years and thus the initial challenge will be to make the brand familiar to the rich and wealthy.
Indian car market is growing very fast and by 2010 the market size will cross more than 2 million. Premium cars of expensive and luxurious cars now only account for 3% of the total car industry and with the growth in Indian economy; this figure is going to increase significantly in the next one decade.
