Football may be the most popular sports in the world and even in Asia but not in South Asia. It is in a distant second after Cricket. No, South Asian country ever played in the final of World Cup Football. On the other hand, in the last World Cup Cricket (2003) four South Asian countries (Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka) played. However, that does not mean that people in South Asia do not watch and enjoy World Cup Football. They enjoy a lot and because of the time zone, they sometimes watch World Cup Football until 4 or 5 AM.
Here in America, of course, football takes a backseat to American football and, well, just about every other sport ... But now with the official U.S. roster snnounced, I officially have World Cup fever, even if I'm the only one
