![]() After the pro-democracy movement a new government came to power in Nepal and there is a new minister for Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation- Pradeep Kumar Gyawali. He is a senior and influential leader of Communist Party of Nepal United Marxist Leninist (CPN-UML)- one of the major Nepalese parties and he can influence his own party and the Nepalese government to push through necessary steps for the development of tourism sector. He has already assured tourism industry leaders of resolving some of the problems they face.
Tourism sector has been very badly hit as a result of the recent political crisis. Now, as a result of the peace process between the government and the Maoist rebels, there is fresh optimism among businessmen and workers related to the tourism industry. June is the month of summer vacation in many countries around the world and hopefully many tourists will flock to Nepal this month.
I would like to see one improvement from Pradeep Kumar Gyawali- a more interactive website for Nepalese tourism industry. The current website is not up to the mark and interactive. I would also suggest him to open a blog in it.
Don’t you agree with me?
