Porsche riding in Pakistani roads: A sign of prosperity or disparity?
You do not need to become an auto expert to know that Porsche cars are only for very rich people. Porsche makes luxury sports cars and in motor racing it is an established name. Thus, it is a car definitely not meant for the South Asian roads as South Asian countries are among the poorest in the world not among the richest. However, Porsche is now turning out to be the coolest thing in Pakistani roads. More than 30 Porsche cars are now sharing Pakistani roads with rickshaw and other vehicles. Recently, Porsche had its first dealer in Pakistan. The starting price of about Rs5.2 million of a Porsche is surely out of reach for all the Pakistanis except a few extremely rich families.

To get the address of Porsche dealer in Pakistan just visit this link. Business is really booming for Porsche in Pakistan and the company is now optimistic of more sales in the coming months. Many observers would take the presence of Porsche in Pakistani streets as a symbol of economic prosperity of the country. However, many others would feel that it is an indication of growing economic disparity between the rich and the poor in Pakistan.
As for me, I feel that the Pakistani government needs to act on a balance. In the one hand, it must free market economy to let the entrepreneurs flourish and own more Porsche cars while on the other hand, it must use the new found economic prosperity to remove economic disparity.
Don’t you agree with me?

Yes, I agree with you on keepng the economic balance in Pakistan. It is badly needed for a country to ensure the overall development and only then the country will enjoy the development. Pakistan is importing Porsche car which does not mean that economy of Pakistna is getting high with the speed of Porsche. However, it can be a good turn in Pakistan economy if Pakistan government can attract those rich peoples to invest more money and in thsi way the foreign investors will also be interested to Pakistan and thus the economic desparity will be decreased.
