I didn't know John Abraham started as a model, but can't say I'm surprised. We loved Dhoom, of course - but then, we do watch a lot of Bollywood movies.

There was recently a model fair here as well, and published in the newspaper were the selected models, more men than women, which surprised me. It also surprised me that the models all look to be adults, unlike models selected in, say, the US, who tend to be, what, 14? Pleasantly surprised that the models chosen were within a range of norms from thin to a bit chunky, not the stick thin anorexic looks of the US.
