Name of the game: Fetch the Celebrities
The rivalry between Coca cola and Pepsi is not only limited to the sales of soft drinks but also in bagging celebrities. In India, it has become a trend that big film stars and players are either signed up with Coca cola or Pepsi.

I could not find any article or any website that gives all the names of celebrities endorsing either Coca cola or Pepsi in India. However, I found some websites that contains videos of Pepsi and Coca cola ads. From there and some recent and old news reports, I have made a list of Indian players and actors and actresses, who promoted Coca cola and Pepsi. If you think I have missed out some one or have any new information, please, feel free to write about it.

Indian Actors and Actresses endorsing Pepsi:
Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Karina Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Arshad Warsi, Bipasha Basu, Yana Gupta, Fardeen Khan
Mallika Sherawat

Indian players endorsing Pepsi:
Saurav Ganguly, Irfan Pathan, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Mohammad Kaif, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh, V.V.S. Laxman

Indian Actors and actresses endorsing Coca cola:
Sushmita Sen, Amir Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Akshay Kumar, Rani Mukherjee, Hrithik Roshan, Mona Singh, Rimi sen, Katrina Kaif,
Liza Ray

Indian players endorsing Coca cola
Sunil Gavaskar, Sania Mirza (2006), Virender Sehwag, Major Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore (Shooter, Olympic Silver medalist)

And today’s winner of “Fetch Celebrity” is…………………………………….
You decide. (He He)

In the Philippines, Coca-cola have won. There's less TV appearance from Pepsi and their endorsers are usually Taiwanese superstars. It seems Coca-cola is more willing to dish out more money for publicity in this part of the world.

I wonder how the Cola-brity contracts work. Why don't the Cola companies bring out the big guns the way Cadbury's brought out the Big-B after the episode of bugs in the chocolate?
