![]() In SouthAsiaBiz, from time to time, we introduce other interesting blogs and bloggers. Four months ago, I wrote about the first blog from Bhutan. Today, I like to talk about a personal blog of Nadia B. Ahmad. The title of the blog is ‘Nadia Ahmad’. Her background is impressive. You can find about her background in About Me section of the blog:
“I recently graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and am now practicing civil litigation defense in Tampa. Previously, at the University of California at Berkeley, I majored in Comparative Literature with language emphases in English and Latin. I've dabbled in writing, editing and publishing over the years. First, for The Orlando Sentinel as a youth correspondent, then on to The Daily Californian and the Inaugural News Team Board of TEEN PEOPLE. I served on the editorial board of the Florida Journal of International Law while at UF. Also, I compiled a 9/11 anthology, Unveiling the Real Terrorist Mind.”
I liked her blog because of its rich content. Nadia talks about human rights and South Asia in this blog. By reading her entries, GRAND OPENING: Demystifying India and SABA CLE Luncheon - Reached Maximum Capacity, I got the idea that Nadia closely follows up the events regarding South Asian people in US and she actively promotes these activities too.
Nadia has edited an anthology about 9/11, Unveiling the Real Terrorist Mind (Edited by Nadia Batool Ahmad et al.). You can buy the book from Amazon. The anthology contains writings from a large number of celebrities:
“Contributing authors include Nobel Laureate Betty Williams, NYU law professor Derrick Bell, MIT professor Noam Chomsky, CSU Long Beach professor Maulana Karenga, Temple University professor Molefi Kete Asante, Georgetown professor John Esposito, author Howard Zinn, author Ishmael Reed, author Michael Parenti, human rights activist Sara Flounders, former U.S. Congressman Paul Findley, former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark, 2006 U.S. Congressional candidate Bob Bowman, and many more exciting authors.”
I am happy to find Nadia’s blog and I wish that she writes more about South Asian issues in her blog in the coming days.

Thank you very much for the sentiment and your gracious comments. I am really appreciative.
My honors thesis at UC Berkeley was about Partition literature. It was published in Queen: A Journal of Rhetoric and Power. It's available on-line.
