Nepal is a smaller country compared to USA, but both these countries have a well established traveling sector. In USA, tourism is one of the biggest industries. Nepal is a small landlocked country. May be poor, the country offers some of top tourist sites of the world. Tourism is the main foreign currency earning sector of Nepal. On the contrary, USA is the most developed country in the world. Tourism is one of the biggest service sectors of USA. It is a 1.3 trillion dollar industry. It is also one of the biggest employers in USA. 7.3 million jobs are generated by the travel industry. Nepal and USA have unique landscapes. Eco tourism, National parks, can be found in both these countries. One thing that can not be found in Nepal is beaches, which on the contrary, is very common in USA.

When it comes to historical and religious sites, Nepal is comparatively richer than USA. Lmubini in Nepal is the birth place of Lord Buddha. Nepal also has many old temples and monasteries. On the contrary, America does not have such old historical sites.    

Both Nepal and USA have many things to offer to the adventure seekers. Nepal is home to seven of the top ten mountains in the world. On the other hand, America has mountain trekking facilities and a wide range of extreme sports facilities.

When it comes to business travel, America is in much better position than Nepal. Business travel is one of the major traveling attractions of USA. Since America has a prosperous and rising economy, it attracts entrepreneurs and investors from all over the world. In addition, many people come to attend meetings, seminars, and conferences. In the middle of their schedules, these people move around the city. They do sight seeing and shopping. This type business travels do not happen in Nepal because it is not an important business center.

Another major thing about USA is that it has many artificial travel attractions like Walt Disney. Nepal does not have any such artificial tourist attractions.

Comparatively, tourism in USA is more expensive than tourism in Nepal. USA attracts tourists mainly from Canada and other European countries. People from Asian countries do not go there because it is very expensive for them. On the contrary, Nepal is a cheaper tourist destination. Every year, people from all over the world come here. It is a great destination for tourists who are price sensitive. More over, Nepalese people are very hospitable.  

From the comparison, we can see that Nepal may be less developed than USA and lacks many things but Nepal can attract more tourists than USA. Whether a tourist comes from western country or less developed country Nepal has facilities for all kinds of travelers. As tourism is the country’s main foreign currency earning sector, Nepal tries to attract as much tourists as possible. Hence, Nepal is a better travel destination compared to USA.
