One of the first movies of Amitabh Bachchan I saw was Naseeb. I did not know about Amitabh Bachchan but I liked the action packed movie very much. This is one of the major hits of Amitabh Bachchan with director Manmohan Desai, one of the most famous Bollywood directors of the 70’s.

The most memorable movie produced by Amitabh Bachchan and Manmohan Desai was Amar, Akbar, Anthony in 1977. This movie is a great mixture of action and comedy. A family breaks apart followed by an unfortunate event. The three brothers get lost and adopted by three different people. They later reunite with their parents and avenge on the perpetrator. Manmohan Desai made his mark for this type of movies. He is the master of “Lost and found” formula. Amar Akbar Anthony was the most successful film of that year. Other movies of Manmohan Desai and Amitabh Bachchan includes: Parvarish, Suhaag, Desh Preeme, Coolie, Mard, Ganga Jamuna Saraswati, and Toofan.
