After Eklavya: The Royal Guard, Amitabh Bachchan’s next movie is Nishabd. Nishabd is directed by another talented director of Indian cinema, Ram Gopal Varma, who is famous for making serious movies. Previously, he worked with Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan in Sarkar, one of the most successful movies of 2005. He is also remaking Sholay where Amitabh Bachchan will play the role of Gabbar Singh.
The trailer of the movie, where Jiah Khan is wearing wet dress has already created huge sensation among Hindi movie goers. People are showing mixed emotions.
The official website of Nishabd (http://www.nishabdthefilm.com) has not been fully developed yet. Aside from few wall papers and pictures, there is not much content. The homepage did not take much time to load in my computer. The macro media intro with back ground music is quite impressive. It would give one a feeling that this movie is dealing with a serious subject.
Amitabh is well known for taking up different roles. However, his character in Kaizad Gustad’s Boom was not very much appreciated by the audience. This movie is definitely an exceptional one for Amitabh Bachchan. Let’s see how it does in box office.
