
It was just a few weeks ago that Sourav Ganguly was out of the Indian cricket team and many people thought that his Cricket career was over forever. He was the victim of dirty politics in Indian Cricket and was kept out of the Indian squad for many months despite being the most successful Indian captain of all time. In fact, for many months in 2005 and 2006, the only passion of some powerful people in Indian Cricket was to keep Sourav Ganguly out of the Indian team. So, much to the dismay of his enemies, Sourav Ganguly has made a strong comeback to International Cricket not with politics but with his performance.

"I would like to bowl during the World Cup, I have bowled a lot in one-day matches. But it depends on skipper Rahul Dravid how he utlises me," Ganguly told reporters here today.
Ganguly, who returned here yesterday after a dream comeback by emerging as the highest run-getter against the Lankans and winning the man-of-the-series award, said he would start his World Cup preparation after a few days' rest.
