Dense population is another major problem. Because of inaccessibility, the people living in these areas do not receive any education about family planning. As a result, the number of people is growing and to provide space for these people forest is being destroyed.
Because of illegal poaching, tigers of the Sundarbans are decreasing day by day. Not only tigers, deer species are also killed and sold for meat.
Different kinds of pollution in the near by city areas the mangrove forest is also getting effected.
