Indian cricketers will be seen with the newly launched jersey for Indian cricket team in World Cup Cricket 2007. The new dress was designed and made by Nike, the official apparel sponsor for Indian cricketers. The jersey was made using the Dri-FIT fabric technology of Nike. In the launching ceremony,y some of India’s top players like Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Dinesh Kaarthick, Zaheer Khan, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and S Sreesanth were present.

Speaking at the unveiling, BCCI vice-president Lalit Modi said: "Great cricket is inspiring, on the street and in the stadium, and we are here today to celebrate the game that is India's passion.
"Today we equip our players with world-class kitting for them to perform at the highest level."
The colours of the graphics on the new jersey take inspiration from the Indian flag and represent speed and motion.
Sanjay Mehra, General Manager, Nike India, said, "This truly is a defining moment for us. We have brought Nike's global expertise and experience to the game of cricket, the result of which is the National Team kit -- our tribute to Indian cricket."

So, the team India will appear with new jersey in the upcoming World Cup Cricket in West Indies Now, it is yet to see if we can see a new India with new dress in terms of their performance. Of course, BCCI is getting even richer for the new jersey as Nike is behind it. However, the Indian supporters would be more interested to see their team perform better in World Cup Cricket 2007 than have new dress.
