Pakistani cricketers are not in their best form now.
The 15-member West Indies-bound
Pakistan cricket team was today barred from speaking to the press ahead of the tournament. "We have taken this step as a part of teams preparations for the Cup and to create an ideal atmosphere for the players so that they could fully concentrate on their cricketing skills," PCB media spokesman P.J. Mir told reporters here.
Describing the World Cup as a grand event, Mir said the aim behind the media ban was image and morale-related.
He said team captain Inzamam-ul-Haq would be speaking to the press whenever needed during the camp training and he would be available to answer all questions relating to team's preparations, and its prospects in the Cup.

PCB spokesman did not explain the problems. However, I am totally against of any such ban. It will only make the matters worse. It will create more speculations and give the idea to the outside world that nothing is going smoothly in Pakistani cricket.
Do you agree with me or do you support this media ban?
