World Cup Cricket 2007 Tickets: Keep them as Souvenirs

I am sad that I cannot go to the West Indies to enjoy the World Cup matches live in the stadiums. It is too much expensive for a ordinary person like me. That is why, I am blogging about it and I am happy that at least I have some relationship with World Cup Cricket 2007. However, those of you who will be present in the stadiums do not throw away your World Cup tickets. The organizers are eager that the spectators preserve the tickets as mementoes.

Daily India reported:

Tickets for warm-up and group stage matches are blue and sport the marine life sub-graphic while Super Eight, or quarter-finals, tickets feature a green design that depicts the tropical fauna of the region, said World Cup project officer (ticketing) Delroy Taylor.

A bright yellow sub-graphic entitled 'rhythm and dance' has been used for semi-final tickets and the 'metallic silver' version of the same sub-graphic has been chosen for the prized tickets of the final to be played at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown April 28.

'These tickets are the quality of those you'd get for an international sporting event such as the Olympics and I think fans who ordered in the first two phases are going to really enjoy these souvenir tickets,' he said.

The organisers have also ensured potential fake tickets are detected successfully.

I am happy that organizers have given a lot of importance to make the tickets beautiful. This shows that World Cup Cricket organizers have become matured and they are giving importance to every aspect of the game.

From the Sitemeter of this blog, I can see that many visitors are coming to this blog while searching about World Cup Cricket in Google.
