
The authorities of West Indies has decided to open a visa centre in Pakistan so that the cricket fans of Pakistan can easily go to the Caribbean region to enjoy the matches of World Cup Cricket 2007. "Today we have received a letter from the West Indies in which they have agreed to Pakistan's proposal regarding opening of a temporary visa centre in Islamabad to provide visas to those Pakistani cricket spectators who want to see the biggest cricket tournament starting in the West Indies from next month," The News quoted a foreign office official as saying.
He further said that consultations were on with theCaribbean authorities in this regard and the final date for opening of the visa centre will be announced soon.
