First, it was February 19th, then March 19th and finally, the smoke clears and the latest news is the date of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s marriage has not been decided yet. Still, rumors and speculations keep on spreading. Abhishek Bachchan has been able to postpone his movie schedule Drona but Aishwarya could not change her schedule for Jodha Akbar. Director Ashutosh Gwarikar is pressing hard to extend the marriage date. I am quoting from the report published in indiatarget.com:
When Abhishek and Aishwarya will be tying the knot, it's not been fixed yet. However the the astrologers already have forecasted their warnings that at no cost the wedding should be delayed much. It should be before March. But if you ask director Ashutosh Gowariker, his answer would be in somehow opposite tune to the astrologers. According to reliable sources, the film-maker has expressed desire of a possible delay in the Ash-Abhi wedding this year.
The director has been pressing really hard for a postponement in the already impending marriage. Ashutosh Gowariker's forthcoming film ‘Jodha Akbar' starring Aishwarya Rai, is currently under the production stage and is slated for a November 9 release this year.
Jodha Akbar is a historical movie based on the story of Great Mughal Emperor, Akbar and Rajput Princess Jodha. So far, huge amount of money has been spent for shooting. It is a very costly project. Hence, Ashutosh Gowariker is asking Aishwarya to be available for the all the pre-production and post-production formalities.
The main problem for Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan wedding is too much media attention. So many rumors have been spread that no body knows what is really happening. This is a big problem for the film stars.
