Now, people of India are eagerly waiting, when Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwaria Rai would get married. Journalist Amita Ghosh has described their marriage equal in grandeur to that of “Prince Charles and Diana.” People are searching on the net about Aishwarya’s saari or her engagement ring or other news related to marriage; but every story is not a very happy story. The Abhishek Aishwarya marriage may look very gorgeous and glamorous but the couple had to go through a tough time. It is not an all “HUNKY DORY LOVE JOURNEY” for them.

The first major problem that the couple faced was their horoscope. Aishwarya is a manglik woman. According to the astrologers, she was born “under a poorly placed Mars.” For this reason, she could bring bad luck to her husband. Many believe that Salman Khan’s downslide is mainly caused by Aishwarya Rai. Even Vivek Oberoi is now not doing that well. World’s most beautiful woman is a major cause of bad luck!!?

The Bachchan family wanted Aishwarya Rai to perform a “havan” a Hindu ritual which is conducted to purify one’s soul and get rid of al the evil forces. The Rai family agreed at first but later refused to do it. According to the news, the Bachchans were not ready to accept Aishwarya Rai as their daughter-in-law in the first place. However, I feel happy that Abhishek Bachchan did not listen to his parents and decided to go ahead with his relationship with Aishwarya.

Then there is the problem of age difference. Abhishek is thirty years old and Aishwarya Rai is thirty three. This is a serious issue because in India the norm is the bride has to be younger than her groom. So many people were not happy with this relationship.
