Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan’s mother, was not happy with Aishwarya Rai earlier. She wanted Aishwarya Rai stop working after marriage and Rai did not agree. Aishwarya Rai attends all the pujas and major events with the Bachchans. Her hard work finally paid off and Jaya has accepted her.
Another hoopla started over Aishwarya and Hrithik kissing scene in Dhoom 2. Reports say that Amitabh Bachchan did not like her future daughter-in-law's lip locking on the screen. He used his influence and censored the scene. Even Abhishek Bachchan was very unhappy because he was not informed about this in the first place. Abhishek even stopped talking with Hrithik because of this kissing scene. The stink of the matter was that after this news got published, people became more interested and the kissing scene video clip is now all over the internet. I do not know what has really been achieved by doing this. Abhishek Bachhcan also did kissing scene but it was not a problem.
According to a report published in India Daily, Aishwarya Rai is involved in foreign currency racketing. She gets large amount of euros from unknown sources. The custom authority questioned her about the money.
