Now it is all finished. After Bermuda’s defeat to Bangladesh, India is out of the world cup tournament. The Indian cricket fans who used to adore their players and worship them are now burning their effigies, and attacking their residence. Amidst all these mishaps and mayhem, the cricket team has got one sympathetic supporter, Abhishek Bachchan, son of Amitabh Bachchan and the “would be hubby” of Aishwarya Rai. According to Abhishek Bachchan, it was very sad that the team has lost but they gave their best shot. They were playing under extreme mental pressure. Abhishek believes that it would be unfair if they are blamed for compromising their games for product endorsement.

After Indian Cricket Teams defeat to Sri Lanka, cricket fans in India have become violent. In Ranchi, cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s house has been attacked by angry mob after India’s defeat to Bangladesh. Indian bowler, Zaheer Khan’s restaurant was also damaged by the cricket fans. Immediately after India’s loss to Sri Lanka, Bandra police deployed special security force in front of Sachin Tendulkar’s house.  The Indian government is going spend  Rs. 25.8 million for the security of the players.

I do not know whether this is fortunate or unfortunate, Aishwarya Rai is also Sachin Tendulkar’s neighbor.Abhishek Bachchan should again start visiting temples and doing pujas so that the anger of the Indian cricket fans comes down. If the angry mob attacks Sachin Tendulkar’s residence then his ladylove cum would be wife will be in deep trouble.
