Aishwarya Rai’s official website, has been shut down after the news of her marriage with Abhishek Bachchan came out. People have become interested to know more about her. Her fans would start writing hundreds and thousands of e-mails to know more about the wedding but she is not going to give out any information. For this reason, the website has been shut down for the last four months. The website was designed by Ms Simone Sheffield. She said that she has no information how long the website will remain closed.
I am quoting from the report published in The Electric New Paper:
THE actress's official website is in limbo. The site www.aishwaryaworld.com has been down since last December. When fans log on to the website, all they get is this message: 'Per Aishwarya Rai: This site is temporarily unavailable. Please do not call or e-mail but check back again next month. Thank you.'
That message has been up for about four months now. The New Paper contacted the site's designer, MsSimone Sheffield, who said that the order to shut down the site came from the 33-year-old actress.
And Ms Sheffield will not be handling the site anymore. She said: 'The site is being re-designed in
The Daily News and Analysis reported that Aishwarya took down the site since announcing her upcoming marriage to Abhishek Bachchan (left, with Aishwarya). She is apparently aware that fans are writing in to find out details of her wedding. As she is not divulging any, she is in an awkward position.
Another possibility for the website's suspension is that she and the Bachchan family might want to design a common one.
Aishwarya Rai is the most successful and the highest paid actress in the present day Bollywood. Rumors of her marriage with Abhishek Bachchan, son of Bollywood film legend Amitabh Bachchan, sparked since November 2006. They got engaged on January 14th. Indians around the world are very much excited about the marriage.
