Andrew Flintoff is one of my favorite all-rounders in World Cricket today. He can bowl well and from time to time, he becomes a very devastating batsman for England team. Andrew Flintoff is hopeful about English team in this year’s Cricket World Cup. England has not done well in this competition since 1992 and English supporters want to some change of fortune this team.

The all-rounder believes that the current squad are capable of putting in the best performance by an England side since reaching the final in 1992.

He said: "In Test cricket, the Ashes is our pinnacle and in one-day cricket it is the World Cup. Winning this would be on a par with winning the Ashes."

Flintoff thinks winning the CB series in Australia at the end of a testing tour down under has given the side renewed belief that they can accomplish something great.

"This England team have a habit of making history and the World Cup is another milestone because we've not won it and we haven't really competed since 1992," said Flintoff.

I would surely love to see Andrew Flintoff performing well in World Cup Cricket 2007. The West Indies stadiums may be ideal for him to hit sixes. He loves to hit sixes and some of the stadiums in West Indies are a bit smaller. I would not be surprised if he becomes the top hitter of sixes in World Cup Cricket 2007.
