Tamim Iqbal Khan is the youngest cricketer of Bangladesh cricket team playing at this moment in the team. At this moment, Tamim Iqbal is with the team at the Caribbean to participate in the ongoing World Cup Cricket 2007. This 17 year old hard hitting opener has already showed his ability against the mighty New Zealand by scoring a smashing 46 facing 48 balls.

Tamim Iqbal played in the Under-19 World Cup Cricket 2006 in Sri Lanka. However, he first came to the lime light after playing a blistering 112 off 71 against the U-19 England team last year in Bangladesh. He first got chance for Bangladesh national team for the Zimbabwe tour of Bangladesh in February, 2007.

He is a new player for Team Bangladesh. He is not experienced at all but he is immensely talented and has the potential to do well in World Cup Cricket 2007. Tomorrow, Bangladesh is starting its campaign against India. I would surely watch how Tamim Iqbal plays.
