It’s lunch time at Trelawny stadium, Jamaica. Indian team has finished batting and after playing 50 overs they could score 300 for 9 Wickets.
It looks to be a decent total and most probably Indian bowlers will be able to restrict Netherlands batsmen to a small score. I am hopeful that India will win the match with ease in the end. However, I must say that I was disappointed with the performance of Indian batsmen in this match. Sachin Tendulkar made 61 (from 59 balls) and Rahul Dravid scored 74. Except these two batsmen, no other batsman failed to make impression in the match. Virender Sehwag, Sourav Ganguly and Yuvraj Singh disappointed me most. I guess the Indian batsmen were competing against each other to get dismissed. Towards the end, Irfan Pathan made a quickfire 25 (of 21 balls).
The Dutch bowling was not up to the mark but the Indian batsmen played bad enough to make them look impressive. However, you have to give a lot of credit to RN ten Doeschate who captured 5 Indian wickets for 57 runs from 10 overs.
I am mainly disappointed of the fact that India failed to score 325 runs and India lost 9 wickets.

The sad part of the game is that very few people actually came to the ground to enjoy the match. Of course, the game is taking place in the West Indies. So, we cannot expect many visitors anyway.
You have disappointed to see that they did not reach to 325. But I am also saw the match, all of Indian batsman did not show their responsibilities.
