Although playing shehnai is considered to be ominous in Hindu wedding ceremony, Mumtaz Hossain expressed his wish to bless Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s union with shehnai melody. IBN LIVE reports:

As Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai get ready to tie the knot on April 20, it will be late shehnai maestro Ustad Bismillah Khan's nephew who could provide the music in the private affair.
Mumtaz Hussain has reportedly expressed his desire to perform at the wedding and has approached Amitabh Bachchan for the same.
"I have already sent my biodata to Amitabh Bachchan stating my desire to perform shehnai at his son Abhishek's wedding and am hopeful of being invited by the family," Hussain was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
In keeping with the traditional Hindu wedding playing shehnai is considered auspicious and Hussain wants to “bless his couple” on his uncle’s behalf with his performance.
What do you think readers? Will Amitabh Bachchan allow Mr. Hussain to perform? I am not much hopeful. The Bachchans have great faith on astrologers. If the astrologers say that it would be ominous then they would not let Mumtaz Hussain play. Instead of sending his bio-data to the Bachchans, Mumtaz Hussain should find out the astrologer to whom the Bachchans visit often and try his best to impress him with gifts. Only the astrologer can fulfill Mumtaz Hussain’s wish.
