When it comes to beauty contest, among the countries of South Asia, India comes on the top position. Over the years, the country has given several beautiful talented girls who won Miss World and Miss Universe and represented India to the international audience. The show which made it possible for Indian women to present their talents and beauty is Miss India beauty contest. With an ordinary starting in the 1940’s, the show has become one of its kind in India. The winner of Miss India also participates in Miss Universe and Miss World.

This year will be Miss India’s 44^th edition and as usual, the competition is going to present some of the dazzling beauties of India. Pantaloon, one of the largest retail stores of India, and Femina will jointly organize the show. The grand finale will be held on April 8^th 2007. Entry for the competition started from 18^th February to 4^th of March.

After a grueling selection process the judges presented the 25 finalists on March 20^th 2007. The twenty five finalists have come from various professional backgrounds like physician, IT and so on. For the next three weeks the girls will undergo a training period. The grand finale will take place at Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.

can some1 please try to find the song from the ad..i looked everywhere...i am lly going crazy over this song pls. is it the song sung by alish chinoi...coz i didn't see the beginning of the femina miss india so don't know if she is the singer even i looked all her songs cant find it...so if any1 has it the would be great if u post the link

Someone plz find the song: "o meri sajni yeh to bata o meri chandini ka kya hai pata" They play it during the promo commercial for femina miss india where the contestants are on the rocks by the beach..i can't find it anywhere! plz help!
