When the One Day Cricket was introduced in the early 70’s, many predicted that it would destroy the real excitement of cricket. However, with the passing of time, ODI cricket has become more popular than Test Cricket. Then, what made it popular? I think that hard hitting batsmen made ODI cricket popular.
