India can beat bangladesh convincigly but still Bangladesh can not be taken lightly as they created an upset by beating pakistan in 1999 world cup leage match.
I interest of cricket see i want to watch world cup 2007 live plz i want to apply because u plz help to i want to see live match of india vs bangladesh
India certainly have an amazing top 5 batsmen, but what is happening repeatedly in this tournament is that 3 or 4 wickets are falling early in the innings and it is up to the middle and late order to rescue the innings. Styris and Oram did this successfully against England. Dwayne Smith did it against Pakistan who in turned failed. No Razzaq and Afridi left Pakistan without any late innings recovery.
So if the Tigers can get past Ganguly, Tendulkar and Dravid in the first fifteen overs the spinners can put pressure on the middle order where they need good bowling plans for danger players Dhoni and Pathan. I think they might have a better shot against Sri Lanka who have a weaker middle order.
A lot if going to fall on the batting shoulders of youngsters Ashrafal and keeper Rahim if India get through the top order.
It was refreshing to know that Bangladesh is not taken 'lightly' now a days. I think it is the 'pay-off' time for history for Bangladesh. India never 'allowed' Bangladesh to play test matches on its soil because of the lack of 'market' for Bagladesh Cricket. The first game of the 2007 world cup cricket is the 'first slap' on India's face in this series. There will be more in the future.

In response to Mohammad Hanan's comment that there will be more slaps in the future for India by Bangladesh, let me remind Mohammad Hanan that luck is not going to be on their side all the time and that Bangladesh and Bangladeshis are far inferior than India and Indians and for them to consider themselves in the same league as Indians is like a dwarf trying to reach the moon. Do not think if a dog bites an elephant one or two times, the dog becomes equal to the elephant.
