India is going to play against Bermuda on 19 March 2007. You may wonder that it is an insignificant match and India will win convincingly anyway. Well, don’t be too sure because the same thing was said before the match between India and Bangladesh. In the first match, Bermuda was beaten by Sri Lanka with a huge margin and even the most optimistic Bermudan fans are not expecting of any major upset. However, because of India’s bad performance against Bangladesh, this match is going to become very crucial for Team India to survive in World Cup Cricket 2007.

India must win against Bermuda and must win convincingly. Indian batsmen need to shine in this game and thrash Bermudan bowling like Sri Lankan batsmen. I would particularly like to see Indian middle order doing better in the match against Bermuda then they did against Bangladesh. I also like to see better captaincy from Rahul Dravid. I cannot figure out his problem about taking advice from Sourav Ganguly.

Indian bowlers also need to be more aggressive. They have to be more accurate in their bowling. Indian fielding is really terrible. In the match against Bangladesh, Indian players gave away a lot of runs and missed some half chances because of their sloppy fielding.

On the other hand, Bermudan players should feel encouraged after seeing the great performance of Bangladesh and Ireland.
