Cricket is a game of runs. When batsmen get a lot of runs in ODI cricket then all the spectators enjoy. No one likes a low scoring ODI match. It seems that World Cup Cricket 2007 may be a great source of entertainment for the spectators who are waiting to see their favorite teams pile up massive totals. According to a report of Independent Online, we may see a lot of boundaries and over boundaries in World Cup Cricket 2007.

Bowlers have been complaining that cricket is a batsman's game for arguably as long as the game has been played. But when it comes to the one-day format they may well have a point.
Scores have rocketed in the past few years, with the nine highest totals by a team winning after batting second in limited overs International history all achieved since the turn of the century.
And with the World Cup set to be played on a series of relatively small grounds in the
Caribbean, there are fears that bowlers will be reduced to the status of stooges amidst a welter of fours and sixes.

My full sympathy is with the bowlers. I hope that the groundsmen do not make the pitches this way that the bowlers would not get any help from the pitches. So, the bowlers will have to give their best to get wickets and restrict the batsmen. May be, we will see high scoring matches.
