On April 9th, Jaya Bachchan, wife of Amitabh Bachchan and MP of Samajwadi Party celebrated her 59th birthday at their Juhu residence, Jalsa. Apun ka choice reports:
The 59th birthday of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s wife also comes ahead of the wedding of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai scheduled for April 20.
The Bachchan residence 'Jalsa' in suburban Juhu was decorated with flowers, and caterers and decorators vans stood outside as a flurry of activity was evident inside.
Both her children, Abhishek and Shweta, have planned a party for the actor-MP, it is believed and the affair will be attended by close family members and friends.
The Bachchan family is now very busy with the upcoming marriage ceremony of son Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. For their happy married life, Amitabh Bachchan went to Tirupati temple and offered prayers to Lord Balaji. Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Samajwadi party leader Amar Singh and industrialist Anil Ambani went to the temple. Amitabh Bachchan placed a card at the feet of the deity. Amitabh Bachchan, Amar Singh and Anil made a donation of fifty one lakh rupees for building schools, hospitals and other facilities for the betterment of poor children.
Honestly speaking, I am very happy that Amitabh Bachchan made a donation for poor children. I think they should have given more money for charity because this is the best way to achieve gods blessing.
