Richard Gere is one of the most famous Buddhist celebrities. He is a big fan of Dalai Lama and Gere often goes to

Rediff reported:
A Jaipur court issued arrest warrants against Hollywood star Richard Gere and Shilpa Shetty on Thursday, for their kiss during an AIDS awareness programme in
Delhi earlier this month. Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jaipur, Dinesh Gupta issued the warrants on a PIL filed by a Jaipur resident, Poonam Chand Bhandari.
Gere's kiss on Shetty's cheek during the AIDS awareness programme had evoked strong protests in several cities.
So, instead of the controversy coming to an end, it will only become more intense now. Now, in Zee News, the case is the top story.
It was not immediately clear how the warrant could affect Gere, who is a frequent visitor to
India. Shetty, who found fame outside
India as the winner of Celebrity Big Brother in the UK, has also been asked to appear before the court. Photographs of the clinch were splashed across front pages of newspapers in
India. Public displays of affection are still largely taboo in
India, and protestors in Mumbai ( Bombay) set fire to effigies of Gere following the incident.
This incident is not going to go down. Of course, nothing will happen to Richard Gere and Shilpa Shetty. 3 sides will be benefited. The lawyers who filed the case would become famous instantly. It is giving a lot of media coverage to Richard Gere and Shilpa Shetty. Of course, all the TV channels and newspapers have got something to cover now. The only loser will be the Indian people. Indian people have a lot of problems. However, for the media now the only Indian problem is why Gere kissed Shetty?

It's incredible: we are in 2007 and indian judges use the law likes a colt: why this? For tutelate indian religion, or culture? Or for to be famous????I like India and i like Indian people; I'm very religious (cattolic), but the religion do not to enter in judgment things. Hi to all the world from Italy.
