There was a lot of speculation that whether Aishwarya Rai (Aishwarya Bachchan) would continue her acting career after her marriage. Now, it seems that she would continue acting in Bollywood for the time being. She is going to play in a movie as Rani Lakshmibai. Rani Lakshmibai is a legendary figure in Indian history. She represents courage, valor and bravery for Indian women. We would love to see how Aishwarya Bachchan can play the role of Rani Lakshmibai in this movie.

``Ash will undergo intensive training,'' Director Ketan Mehta said referring to her by her nickname. ``The role demands a lot of action scenes.''
Rai is to play Rani (Queen) Lakshmibai, the legendary ruler of a north Indian state of
Jhansi , who played a key role in the failed 1857 uprising against's then British colonial rulers. India Lakshmibai died aged 23 on the battlefield while fighting British soldiers in 1858.
The only problem is that Aishwarya Rai is way older than 23 years. So, I would love to see how she acts like her. On the other hand, Rani Lakshmibai was a woman of strong personality. It would be difficult for Aishwarya Rai to depict this strong personality in the movie as Aishwarya Rai is ready to do everything to satisfy the Bachchans.
