In the second test match of the Grameenphone Test Series in Mirpur, Bangladesh is now struggling as they could score 58 for 5 at the end of the second day of the ongoing test. Earlier, India piled up 610 for 3 declared. As I earlier said that the wicket had nothing for the bowlers. Four Indian batsmen scored centuries. However, in the same wicket, Bangladeshi top order failed to show any resistance against the Indian bowlers as if they were batting in South Africa or Australian pitch.

All the Indian bowlers could bowl well. They could maintain line and length that paid off immensely. Zaheer Khan looked very dangerous with swing from both sides. Zaheer got three wickets whereas Rudra Pratap Singh captured Habibul Bashar’s wicket. Veteran leg spinner Anil Kumble got well-set Rajin Saleh’s wicket.

Earlier in the morning, Dinesh Karthik came to bat and reached at his first test century. Before that, Captain Rahul Dravid completed his 24^th test century off 144 balls. Then it was Sachin Tendulkar who got his back to back centuries.

Now, it is clearly seen that Indian is on driving seat in this test match and Bangladesh need to have something very special from their batsmen to save this test.
