LG ICC Player Rankings have recently been published with a little change in the first 10 batting and bowling. India’s hard hitter batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni has increased one position in the ODI batting. Dhoni stand at no. 4 at this moment. However, none of the other Indian players could make it in the first ten of the ODI batting list as Rahul Dravid now stands at 15 position. However, the ODI bowling ranking is much more frustrating as no Indian bowler could reach at the top ten of the ranking. Harbhajan Singh who is now out of the Indian team is in 13th position along sharing the place with Andrew Flintoff.
Shahara Samay reported:
Wicketkeeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni's return to form in the Bangladesh tour not only earned him the 'Man of the Series' award there but also pushed him one rung up to fourth in the latest LG ICC Players Rankings for ODI batsmen.
Thanks to the 2-0 win against Habibul Bashar's side, Team India, at sixth place, is now breathing down Sri Lanka's neck with just three rankings points separating them from the islanders.

Many think that ranking is not everything in cricket and it can not make the proper judgment all the time. May be it is true however; ranking is based on recent performance so it can easily configure the best players in a short period of time. Though India won the ODI series against Bangladesh, they could not put on any pressure on the Bangladeshi players.
