Glenn McGrath bid farewell to international cricket with the final match of World Cup Cricket 2007. He was a great bowler and he gave a lot to world cricket. You need not be an Australian fan to enjoy the bowling of Glenn McGrath. So, many people like me got sad when he announced his retirement last month. The good news is that we may see McGrath in action soon in Indian cricket league.
There is some speculation in the media about whether Glenn McGrath would join Indian Cricket League (ICL) or not. About it he said:
''I saw a lot of mention about it (ICL) in the newspapers and have been reading about it but knew nothing about it. It has finally come about. My manager and me had a meeting the other day. It is in the initial stages and it is something I got to weigh up now that I am retired, and I am an ex-cricketer.''

You know that Kapil Dev is in charge of Indian Cricket League and he will his best to make it a success. If McGrath joins ICL then it will surely attract some other big names in cricket too.
