Sony has recently taken a decision that it will stop three popular television serials for a week due to the timing problem with Indian Idol 3. The three serials are Durgesh Nandinii, Ek Ladki Anjaani Sii and Virrudh.

Television Point reported:
The channel's creative director Sandiip Sikcand says, "A strategy like this serves a dual purpose. Indian Idol is expected to attract good viewership. And, on the back of it, we will promote Durgesh Nandinii, Ek Ladki Anjaani Sii and Virrudh, so that when they return on June 11, it also gets a slice of the huge traffic that is hooked onto Idol."
On the musical talent hunt shows on Star Plus and Zee, Sikcand concludes, "The more the merrier. It's still very early days to see the TRP's and decide which show has an advantage. We have to deal with fragmented viewership. The emergence of new talent will decide the fate of each show."

I m very disatisfied about indian idol. few singer are out being a good singer. i want to know how richa is in. her singing voice is looks like a child, i think either her family has strong network in india or purchasing vote by giving money. she should be out from the indian idol. otherwise the indial idol will not be fruitfull.
