Indian Idol 3 is now on Sony Entertainment television on every Friday and Saturday nighyt. Now, the preliminary stages are being shown in Sony TV. Though the main competition is yet to start, people are still excited with watching the audition rounds of preliminary stages. In the last show, the audition round of Kolkata and London had been shown. A pool of excited contestants were seen roaming around the audition centre in both Kolkata and London.

It is a matter of surprise that people in London were also very excited about the competition and they had also the same dream to be the next music talent in India. The contestants got chances from Kolkata seemed to very talented.

The city of joy gave the judges lots to be glad about. "The contestants this season are exceptionally talented. Surprisingly, this time we have come across many youngsters between the ages of 16 and 18. The competition will get tougher as the show progresses," said Annu Malek, who's quite in awe of this year's talent.

While the Kolkata auditions had a mixed bag of emotions, the London auditions set an upbeat mood. It was for the first time that Indian Idol was going to London, and this was an opportunity for the participants to come to India and bond with fellow contestants. The two judges from India, Annu Malek and Alisha Chinai, loved the enthusiasm and eagerness of the participants. Earlier, the pre-casting was done by the London-based music director and composer Biddu.

I think Kolkata participants have potential to win the competition as some of them looked to be very skilled singers. However, I got surprised to see the passion of London participants towards music. It is really a good initiative taken by the organizers to include people from London. I hope the organizers will also go for other countries specially the sub-continental countries. Then, for sure, the competition will be a more global one.
