Miss Universe 2007 Dominated by Asian Beauties

You must have already known that Miss Japan Riyo Mori has won the Miss Universe 2007 title in Mexico. Riyo Mori is the second Japanese to win the competition. Earlier, in 1959, Akiko Kojima won the first Miss Universe title from Japan as well as from Asia. However, this year, some of the Asian girls dominated the competition. In the first ten, there were 3 participants from Asia. Miss Korea Lee Honey became the third runner up and Miss India Puja Gupta was in the first ten. So, you can see that Miss Universe 2007 was successful for the Asian beauties.

 

 

In addition to these three Asian beauties, Miss Thailand Farung Yuthithum finished the competition in 14th position. Asian girls are coming with their beauty and talent. In 2000, Lara Dutta was the last Asian woman to win the crown of Miss Universe. So, Miss Universe 2007 has once again revived Asian beauty.

You forgot to mention Ms China winning Miss Congeniality as well as Ms Philippines winning Miss Photogenic, in your article about Asian Beauties dominating Miss Universe 2007.
